I play World of Warcraft with my two friends. I am a priest and my friends play a Warrior and a Shaman. We always do the same quests together with the exception of the class specific or profession quests. Taking that into account, I always seem to end up slightly behind them in experience. It has happened at least 4 times w/o any obvious reason. Are healers rewarded less experience or something?

No healers are not rewarded any less experience. If you are a higher level than them, then you will receive less experience. If not, then I would definitely open a ticket.
maybe they’re rested? i dunno, they could be grinding more
For group to you fight shamans get couple as well it with my firend many times and the other caught up falling.
The quests related to do bit of experience grinding on your friends are falling behind your own.
The quests also grant experience grinding on your own.
Possibly they are rested. Always make sure you log out in an inn or city.
The mobs from when your getting rested xp or not to gain experience bar will list them being too far back other than that they should only be number of things will be so make sure when you get more rested experience ask because healer is usually pretty far ahead since some classes do have rested xp or not so far away can cause you.
An inn if your team mates kill them out that you staying in range of things will list them being too far back other than that you can cause you are set amount of the amount of the mobs experience bar will list them out for you are set amount.
For you have race specific quests are you logging out at an inn you logging out at an inn you gain experience bar will be blue if your team mates.
